The Canada Digital Adoption Program is a partnership between the Government of Canada, Business Link, and Digital Main Street.

  • Collaborate with a dedicated E-Commerce Advisor for personalized guidance, strategy, grant planning, and tech support.

Qualifications

  • You have at least 1 employee (other than the business owner) or had at least $30,000 in annual revenue.

 

  • You are a for-profit and consumer-facing business.

 

  • Your business is registered or incorporated.

Disqualifications

  • Your business is a not-for-profit, non-consumer-facing, corporate chain, multi-level marketing business, franchise, or real estate agent.

 

  • Your business is not registered or incorporated.

 

  • You have no employees or have less than $30,000 in annual revenue.

how Grants work step by step

Step 1: Verify Eligibility

Ensure your business is registered in Ontario, is a for-profit and consumer-facing entity, and meets the necessary requirements such as having proof of incorporation and CRA correspondence showing your HST number.

Step 2: Required Documents

  • Collect all necessary documentation, including proof of incorporation or registration, CRA correspondence, and any other relevant financial documents to demonstrate your business’s eligibility.

 

Step 3: Submit Application

  • Complete the eligibility check form with the required information and upload the necessary documents. Submit the form through the designated platform before the application deadline.

 

Step 4: Initial Review

  • Your application will be reviewed for eligibility. If your business meets the criteria, you will be contacted to schedule a Zoom call for further discussion.

 

Step 5: Zoom Call Consultation

Participate in a 45-minute to 1-hour Zoom call with an E-Commerce Advisor. During this call, you will discuss your business needs, digital adoption strategy, and ensure a good fit for the grant program.

Step 6: Grant Agreement

If approved, you will receive a grant agreement to sign. Once signed, you can begin implementing your digital marketing. Submit proof of eligible expenses for reimbursement up to $2,400.
